Program

Allies in Service is a 501(c) (3) and does not charge fees to our veterans or employment partners. Please contact us at 214-438-6358 for more information.

To enroll in our program, FILL OUT the application form. Please have your (or your spouse’s) DD214, your resume and a valid picture ID (preferably a VA ID card) ready before starting the process. You may contact us with general questions at 214-438-6358 and for assistance with furniture, please call 214-438-6114. 

Allies in Service is not currently accepting applications for employment, but if you are a veteran or veteran spouse and ENROLL in our program, we can help you with your employment search. 

Please FILL OUT the mentorship form. Once we have an opening and determine that you meet the qualifications for the program, we will be in contact with you.

Employment
  • Resume assistance, mock interviews, career leads and referrals
  • Warrior Mentorship Program:  Connecting executive mentors with veteran and veteran spouse protégés for one year

Education

  • Resources and referrals to continuing education programs
  • Referrals to training programs
  • Access to student veteran groups and university veteran liaisons

Health Care

  • Resources and referrals to traditional and non-traditional mental health and substance abuse programs
  • Peer-to-peer counseling programs
  • Benefit navigation

Housing

  • Crisis and short-term housing referrals
  • Referrals to home ownership resources, credit counseling and home buying workshops
  • Furniture resources for veterans in need of transitional items

Miscellaneous

Privacy is important to us; therefore, we will not sell or give your personal information to anyone without your permission.
To locate your military personnel file and access your DD214, try VA BENEFITS. If you are on your first enlistment and have not been discharged, you may provide a copy of your VA Card or other proof of benefits. Spouses will need to provide this information about the military member/veteran. Do not send a copy of your social security card.
Allies in Service does not need your social security number.  Please black out your social security number before sending your DD214.
