Dwight Mathers

Dwight Mathers is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard who recently retired as a Captain after a successful career serving in positions of increasing responsibility. He has extensive experience in human resources and leadership development; change management and strategic communications; program and project management; and international relations. He also served eleven years at sea and commanded two cutters, conducting independent operations hundreds of miles offshore in all weather conditions.

Dwight is a highly organized, purpose-driven servant-leader and problem solver with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. He has a demonstrated the ability to build, motivate, and manage large teams, advise senior managers on organizational policy matters, and implement organization-wide policies. He is an expert in building relationships, communicating strategic goals and organizational capabilities at all levels of the organization, while providing technical expertise, mentoring, and training to employees and customers alike.
Dwight has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy; a Master of Marine Affairs degree from the University of Rhode Island; and a Masters of Science degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College in Washington, DC.
